So funny. I will make sure to send you an evergreen candle for your Christmas present.

Oh-and one other thing. After your first year, you *might* change your mind about how much easier it is. After all-those branches are CODED and have to be put BACK coded! :-)

PS...Did you get my last (very depressing) letter? Well, there is an update. We found a job but now are homeless. Right in time for Christmas. AHHHH. I will live vicariously through your holiday cheer! :-)Rebeccahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17983592950942904914noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33005193.post-88852475728212142482006-11-16T11:50:00.000-07:002006-11-16T11:50:00.000-07:00Mandie, I love your Christmas tree! We only get to have a Palm tree this Christmas. AND they won't let me decorate it! They are all expecting that we will get a shipment of real trees from the mainland.....won't they be surprised if that doesn't happen? Somebody might be eating crow for Thanksgiving!!! Ha-Ha!!

A heartfelt GrandmaAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33005193.post-43885719997247495292006-11-16T01:55:00.000-07:002006-11-16T01:55:00.000-07:00I just don't know!?!? The smell of a freshly cut evergreen...sure it needs a little tender loving care like a little water once in a while but the joy it brings to a family if only for a month or two. My poor little grand-children will think Christmas trees grow in a cardboard box and smell like musty plastic. I just don't know what to do!?!? I guess the next trip to the store will be for a can of artificial evergreen air spray. Who knows what's next...probably a rotating tree stand that plays "oh "plastic" Christmas tree, oh "plastic" Christmas tree, how lovely are your artificial limbs."
I just don't what more to say...

A troubled GrandfatherAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33005193.post-20455877369451915522006-11-15T22:04:00.000-07:002006-11-15T22:04:00.000-07:00OK, she is really, really cute. Look at Dabney's excited face- can you deny that sweet thing, Uncle James? And remind me to take your present back because I bought it before December!Mandiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03724794367583553263noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33005193.post-48114478221469806342006-11-15T17:55:00.000-07:002006-11-15T17:55:00.000-07:00I am so confused. What happened to the hot cocoa while you put up the lights and ornaments(preferably in December!), hm? I guess its alright for PLASTIC but I suppose we won't dispossess you yet. Just kidding partly.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
