Christmas Card Preview
Stationery card
View the entire collection of cards.
Ok, I'm breaking a little bit of my own protocol here and posting (one of) our own Christmas card designs here. I typically make at least one design from Shutterfly per year, but I must say how impressed I was with the multitude of options for the cards this year. One to six of your own photos, folded or flat, card size options, color variations, landscape or portrait, and sooooo many different gorgeous designs. Anyway I had a great time choosing so many options and I hope you do too!

Giedd Homechool 2012-2013 School Pictures
As you can see, my children are now giants!
Dabney is a beautiful and tender 8, David is a very commanding 6 (almost 7), Joshua is on the quiet side at 5, Adam, 3, is our unassuming comedian and lately we've been calling Aaron (18 months) the E*Trade baby in regards to his computed fascination.

David's First Fish!
We went fishing at Grandpa's farm last week. I just wanted my kids to have the experience of fishing and I really wasn't expecting to catch anything (except algae and a few fallen branches). I just got some fake bait (because I really wasn't feeling up to digging for bait and picked up some little cheap fishing pole from Wal-mart but lo, and behold!
I helped reel him while the kids were just screaming with excitement.
It was a gorgeous big mouth bass!
Sweet Aunt Marlo helped unhook him and held him up so I could get some pictures. David really wanted to keep it, but in the end we let him go so he can get bigger and we can catch him again next time.
How many kids can put that in their homeschool portfolio?
