Catching Up

So it's been a while since I've had a chance to update you all on our little family. My wonderful (and often hilarious) parents and brother and sister come to visit us and meet Baby Adam for a while and we had a total blast with them. Dabney, David, and Josh just soaked them all in! They also made it for Adam's baptism (below). We were so thankful they came to visit, but of course they didn't stay nearly long enough.

In other news, we all are getting back to normal as a family of 6, or figuring out what normal is for us now. Everything seems to take much longer now~ getting ready to go anywhere, getting the kids to bed, making dinner, having hospitality, blogging!, etc. However, I do think we'll pick up speed as we go along now.

Dabney had her hair cut shorter for the hot summer.

Adam loves his outfit from Auntie Rebecca! And Rebecca, if you are reading this, you will be getting a bona fide pen and paper letter shortly!

Speaking of Adam, he turned 6 weeks old this past Wednesday and he had a few friends over last week.

He's a pretty happy little guy.

Also, Josh turned 2 years old this past Wednesday (it was a big day).
We had his favorite macaroni for dinner and Daddy brought him a balloon home which he hasn't put down yet. We're going birthday shopping on Saturday with him.

What a big boy he is!

Gotta sign off for now, hope you enjoyed the pictures and I'll try to update sooner next time!

Happy Birthday, Joshua!!!
You just get cuter by the minute! I miss you so much. Your mom must love you lots to make such a great big beautiful chocolate birthday cake and not be able to have any herself! Good job, Mandie - I would NEVER pass that test! I am so proud of you!
Wish we could have been there for you, Joshua - but I was the one to get the present, when you talked to me on the phone - you sounded so good and so grown up - what a big beautiful boy you are - praise the Lord! Hug and kiss your brothers and sister for us. We love you all so much!
